Plum tomatoes named after the region of San Marzano near Naples, Italy have traditionally been the tomatoes of choice for the best flavored tomato sauce.

The tomatoes used in this delicious sauce are domestically grown San Marzano Tomatoes and are firm and meaty with very few seeds. The result is a smooth, vibrant and piquant sauce suitable for any variety of pasta.

“Arrabiatta” means “very angry” or “mad”–sort of “fired up”. The “fire” in the San Marzano Arrabiatta Sauce comes from a generous addition of onions, garlic, and crushed red pepper seeds, just enough to heat things up a bit.

Each jar of San Marzano Arrabiatta Sauce contains 26oz. (737gr) or enough for 6, 1/2cup servings.
